Community Corner: Giving Back to Our Local Area
Free Dental Care for the Homeless – Saturday, October 19th.
We are incredibly proud to announce our next community initiative! On Saturday, October 19th, Oakmead Dental Care will be dedicating the day to providing free dental care for local homeless individuals. This important event is in partnership with the Greenwich Homeless Project. We believe everyone deserves access to essential dental care, and we are grateful for the opportunity to use our skills to support those most in need in our community.
Introducing the Future of Dentistry: The iTero Scanner
Starting September 20th, we are revolutionising the way we take dental "impressions" at Oakmead. We have invested in the state-of-the-art iTero Digital Scanner, which will replace most of the impression taking at the practice, which is usually uncomfortable, gooey moulds traditionally used for crowns, Invisalign, and other treatments, excluding dentures. The iTero scanner takes a quick, highly accurate, and non-invasive 3D digital scan of your mouth. It’s faster, cleaner, and much more comfortable for you! We will be offering this superior service to new patients as well as existing ones.
Practice Upgrades: Our New Dental Suite
We are delighted to unveil our newly renovated Surgery 1! This flagship dental suite has undergone a complete overhaul, featuring a brand-new dental chair and the latest equipment. This renovation ensures we are always up-to-date with modern dental technology, providing you with the most comfortable and highest standard of care possible. We think you’ll love the calm, contemporary atmosphere.
Autumn Promotion: GBT Hygiene Special
Receive Free TePe Brushes with Your Appointment
Our Autumn Promotion is well underway! When you book a Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) hygiene appointment with our hygienists, you will receive two sets of TePe interdental brushes (TePes) completely free. Your hygienist will personally prescribe the correct sizes for your mouth, ensuring you have the right tools to maintain a sparkling clean smile at home. Hurry to book! This promotion started last week and will run until the end of December. Our hygiene appointments are filling up fast, so call or email the practice soon to secure your slot!

Just a friendly reminder that we have a fantastic dentist dedicated to our younger patients! Dr Anum Chaudhary is our go-to dentist in children’s dentistry and is in the practice every Tuesday. Dr Chaudhary is committed to providing brilliant, gentle dental care for children, offering both private and NHS treatments. She is great at making the experience fun and positive, helping set your children up for a lifetime of good oral health.
